# Sam&Hammer Frequently Asked Questions

## What is Sam&Hammer?

Sam&Hammer is an asymmetric two-player party and icebreaker game for iPhone. Both players switch roles during the match and play once as Sam and once as Hammer.

## Is Sam&Hammer free?

It is free to download. Advertising and optional in-app purchases may be available; current prices and availability are shown in the App Store and in the app.

## Can I play with friends or viewers?

Yes. The game supports friend-related play, and its short two-role format can be used for voluntary viewer or community challenges.

## Can matchmaking continue while I use another app?

Yes. In Version 1.6, Quick Match can continue waiting for an online opponent while Sam&Hammer is in the background. You can browse the web, shop, or chat in other apps during the wait, then return when the match is ready. Match availability and wait time are not guaranteed.

## Does Sam&Hammer work as a party icebreaker?

It can be used as a quick conversation starter when everyone chooses to participate. It does not guarantee friendship, dating, popularity, or any other social outcome.

## Which mode affects the PvP ranking?

Eligible Find Match or Quick Match games affect the weekly PvP score. Nearby and friend battles do not under the current published rules.

## How does Fight Bot scoring work?

Fight Bot Mode has three difficulties. Every map has an independent best score and ranking, and the highest score counts whether the match ends in a win or loss.

## When are weekly rankings settled?

The current published schedule is Every Monday at 08:00 UTC for score settlement and reward distribution.

## Does the game improve focus or reaction ability?

No health, medical, therapeutic, cognitive-training, or guaranteed performance benefit is claimed. Observation, timing, and reaction language describes actions used while playing.
