# Sam&Hammer Background Matchmaking

> Sam&Hammer can continue waiting for an online opponent while the app is in the background.

## Keep Your Waiting Time

Start Quick Match, leave Sam&Hammer in the background, and continue browsing the web, shopping, or chatting in other apps while matchmaking continues. Return to Sam&Hammer when the match is ready.

## What This Feature Does

- Continues waiting for an online opponent while Sam&Hammer is in the background.
- Lets players use other apps during the matchmaking wait.
- Reduces the need to keep the matchmaking screen open continuously.
- Version 1.6 also improves matchmaking reliability and stability.

Availability depends on the current app version, device conditions, network access, and iOS behavior. This feature does not guarantee an opponent or a specific wait time.
